How it Works
After an in-depth assessment of your body, your unique features and your personal goals – our doctors will determine which procedure or combination of procedures will deliver optimal results. There are two different kinds of thigh life procedures we perform. The inner thigh lift which begins with an incision in the groin area to remove excess fat and skin from the inner thigh. The area from the groin to the knee is reshaped for a tighter, firmer and more proportional appearance. The outer thigh lift is a bit more complicated and often requires reshaping of the buttocks in addition to the outer thighs.
Will there be scars?
Depending on if you have an inner or outer thigh lift, you will have small incision marks near the groin area and or near the hip and possibly near the buttock. Our doctors know how to strategically place the incisions for a conspicuous outcome.
How do I prepare for this procedure?
It is important to stop smoking before undergoing surgery to promote better healing. It is strongly suggested to avoid taking aspirin or anti-inflammatory drugs that can cause increased bleeding. It is always important to stay hydrated before and after surgery for a safe recovery. For most lifts, it is essential that you maintain a stable weight for a significant duration of time so as not to jeopardize the effects of the procedure.
